Clarity through Design.
Our mantra does not just apply to our practice of architecture. In our interior design work, when we play the role of a design consultant (independent of the renovation contractor), we ponder about the client’s brief, and distill their requirements to the essence.
In this almost completed project, we framed the design around light.
Of maximised natural daylight (client’s primary concern), contrasts of warm vs cool light; and wide expanse (light filled) vs intimate shelter (singular light source).
Keep it simple and the design foundations of the client’s desires will shine through.
